About Scrapbooking
GETTING STARTED
- Gather your photos into one place. Clear a space to work on such as a clean desktop or table.
- Sort your photos into chronological order. Some people like to start with their most recent photos first and work backwards. As you sort, write down dates and important details on the backs of the photos. (Use a pencil crayon and light pressure.)
- Group photos by theme or event (eg. a birthday, a wedding, a day at the park etc). Place these groups into zip lock bags for safe, temporary storage. (Glad sandwich bags are great for 6" x 4" prints.) Label each bag so you know what's inside.
- Start planning an album project. Some people like to do a Christmas album, a Holiday album, a Family album, a Baby album for each child etc.
- Purchase an acid, lignin & PVC free album and some
supplies.
Congratulations!
You're ready to start scrapbooking.
