About Scrapbooking
Make A Page In A Snap
- Choose 5-6 photos with a similar theme (eg. first day of school).
- Crop and shape photos. Eliminate unwanted sections of each photo whilst adding interest to your page at the same time.
- Select papers and/or cardstock that compliment the colours in your photos.
- Mat photos. It is not always necessary to mat every photo. Sometimes matting one or two of the best photos can be more effective.
- Add embellishments. Use decorative items that convey the theme of the photos (eg. Example, balloons and streamers for birthday photos).
- Decide placement. Spend some time playing with the layout of all your page elements until you are completely happy.
- Adhere everything securely to your page.
- Journal. Write something on the page about the photos. Names and dates are a starting point.
- Protect your page by placing it in a protective sleeve and then
place the sleeve in an album.
Congratulations!
Your page is complete.
